We take on the whole job: the plan, the shoot and everything that comes out at the end. Commercials, campaign films, corporate and product work - one production, run from the first brief to the last file delivered.
This is the complete job rather than one stage of it. A single plan covers the crew, the locations, the shoot days and every version that has to exist at the end. Cameras, lenses and lighting come from Heero Cam, which the agency owns, so the equipment list is written from the schedule rather than the schedule around it.
01. What the film has to do
The first conversation is about the job and about every place the finished work has to run. A launch, a website, a screen at a stand, a paid campaign - each one changes the length, the shape and how much has to be shot.
That becomes a written plan: the scenes to cover, the locations, how many shoot days it takes and the full list of versions to be delivered. You approve the plan before anything is booked, and the shoot is built on that same document.
02. Crew, kit and shoot days
Crew and equipment are sized to that plan rather than to a fixed package. A single set-up in one room and a multi-camera day at a venue are not the same production, and they are not scheduled as if they were.
Tawfik Cheikhdouar leads the camera as director of photography, with a Carte CCM from the Centre Cinematographique Marocain. A production can run across several days and several locations, and the schedule is written so that everything shot still belongs to one film. We film anywhere in Morocco.
03. The cut, and every version of it
Editing, colour, sound and titles carry on with the same team that was on the shoot, on the schedule set at the start. The edit is shown to you while it is still an edit, before the grade and the sound are laid on top of it.
The production is then cut into the versions the plan listed: a full-length master, shorter cuts for placements, square and vertical framings for the phone. They are handed over as one set, each file named for where it goes.
